Restoring Heroes Project

I was reading a book by N.D. Wilson called the “Outlaws of Time” and something a character said in the story struck me. Sam Miracle ( the hero character in the book) just had a big loss. Horrified at his condition he says something like, “I look like a nightmare.” Without skipping a beat the mentor says “Every hero needs to be part Nightmare”. That hit me like a spinning back kick to the stomach.
